There is nothing worse than living a life that leads you to unfulfilled and later living with regret. To live a truly happy life that makes you fulfilled and thrilled to wake up in the morning you need to find your dream purpose and work towards it each day,
You want to live according to your true purpose to find true fulfillment in life.
Below I have a few pointers on how you can find your dream calling and purpose. So let’s begin by using the power of the imagination.
Visualize your perfect life
The first thing you want to do when it comes to finding your true purpose is to start imagining what your dream calling looks like.
Just imagine having the perfect life where you are living your true purpose. What do you see? What do you hear? When visualizing your purpose daily you will start to imagine deeper insight into what your true purpose is.
Another thing you can do is to ask your future self, believe it or not. Simply close your eyes and imagine your in a park, imagine the trees, the birds in the trees feel the grass on your feet, the sounds and smells of freshly cut grass, feel the breeze on your face.
Now imagine there is a park bench and imagine your future self is sat there who lives there true purpose, Imagining sitting next to them and ask them,
- What is your purpose in life?
- What would make you happy?
- What difference do you make in the world?
Let your ‘ future self’ answer.
This simple exercise will offer you guidance on what your true purpose is. Now your future self is your subconscious mind and when you imagine another ‘you’ who knows your true purpose then answers are going to come a lot more freely by the part of you who already knows what would make you happy and fulfilled.
The subconscious mind.
Write down all the attributes of your perfect life.
The second thing that you want to do is to get your thoughts out on paper.
It is much easier to think of new ideas when you’re writing things down. Start writing all the things that you imagine when you visualize your perfect life as well as the answers from your ‘future self.’
Write down all the things you want to contribute to society to make the world a better place.
Write down the difference you want to make in the world and who you want to serve and how you want to serve them.
While writing imagine that you already know the answer, which brings me to my next point…
Believe you have already found it.
When you truly believe that you have already found it, you’re telling your subconscious mind that you know the answer and believe it or not in that state you start to unblock the answers coming to you from the subconscious mind.
Make sure when you go to bed at night imagine you have already know your dream purpose and in the morning write down ‘ my life’s purpose is… and jot down your ideas.
What happens is this incubation period where you start to believe that you know the answer to your question that while you are sleeping the subconscious will begin to work on figuring out the answer.
Just make to also…
Journal each day.
It’s best to have a journal close by to jot down any ideas that come to you of what would make you fulfilled, start a journal of things that inspire you including people who inspire you and why they inspire you and journal about times when you felt good and fulfilled.
As you begin to journal, your subconscious mind will start to figure out what your life purpose is and before long the answer will come to you.
Another way is using…
Spend ten to fifteen minutes in the morning in mediation, if it helps pick up this free meditation here, it is a soothing relaxing track with brainwave entrainment that naturally syncs your mind to a meditative state, when using the track make sure to clear your mind, and imagine living your true purpose, in this relaxed state your are more in tune with your subconscious mind and even your higher self and it is in this meditative state where your answers will come.
Just make sure to use the journal to jot down your ideas each morning. Keep asking yourself what is my true purpose.
After you have done all that….
Make your mission statement.
Write down a mission statement that shares what difference you want to make to yourself, your family and friends, and ultimately your world, Write down who you want to serve and how you want to serve them.
For example, my mission statement is ‘ I believe that the right thoughts drive success and with belief and conviction, anyone can be successful in all that they endeavor and it is my purpose to show driven individuals how to use the power of their minds to be successful.
Once you have your mission statement and you feel it is right for you then use that to guide you to live to that statement, focus on it, believe it, and work towards it each day.
